Barbecue Jackfruit Sandwiches are the plant-based equivalent of pulled pork. Jackfruit mimics pork and is covered in a smoky, sweet barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 20 Ounce Can Young Green Jackfruit in Brine
  • 1 Recipe Plant-Based BBQ Sauce
  • ¼ Head Red Cabbage chopped
  • 4 Plant-Based Burger Buns gluten-free if necessary

Instructions

  • Drain and rinse the jackfruit. Shred/slice into strips.
  • Add the jackfruit and BBQ sauce to a medium saucepan. Cover and let cook 5-10 minutes, until the jackfruit is warm.
  • Serve the jackfruit on a bun along with the chopped red cabbage. Enjoy!
