Add the frozen banana and the bourbon to a food processor. Blend until the bananas are completely smooth. This may take several minutes depending on how frozen your bananas are.
Add the pecans and salt and pulse to mix them into the banana bourbon mixture.
Pour the nice cream into a bowl and enjoy as soft serve OR place in the freezer for an hour and enjoy as 'churned' ice cream.
