Ingredients

  • 1 8 Ounce Block Tempeh
  • ½ Cup Cold or Room Temperature Black Coffee
  • 2 Tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ginger

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Whisk together the marinade ingredients.
  • Chop the tempeh into cubes. Pour the marinade over the tempeh and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place the tempeh and any remaining liquid on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the tempeh is crispy. Enjoy!
