- 2 Small Apples sliced
- 1 Small Orange sliced and cut into quarters
- 4-6 Fresh Figs halved (if available)
- ¼ Cup Pomegranate Arils
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks or sub ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 Star Anise Pods or sub ⅛ teaspoon ground star anise, or omit entirely
- 24 Ounces Apple Cider
- 8 Ounces Orange Juice
- ¼ Cup Lemon Juice
- 24 Ounces Seltzer Water OR Ginger Beer OR Ginger Kombucha
Add the fruit, cinnamon, and star anise to a large pitcher or punch bowl.
Pour in the grape juice and orange juice and stir to combine. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
When ready to serve, top with the seltzer water.
If desired, rim each glass with cinnamon by dipping the rim of the glass in water or apple cider and then in cinnamon.
Pour the sangria into each glass, ensuring some of fruit makes it into the glass, for the best experience.
