½CupPecan Butteror other nut butter like mixed nut butter or cashew butter
½CupMaple Syrup
1TablespoonGround Flaxseeds + 2 Tablespoons Water
1TeaspoonVanilla Extract
1TeaspoonBaking Powder
½TeaspoonBaking Soda
½TeaspoonSalt
½CupChopped Toasted Pecans+ extra whole pecans for topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8" x 8" baking pan with parchment paper.
Add all the ingredients except the pecans to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Stir in the pecans.
Press the mixture the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with additional pecans, if desired. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the pan comes out clean and the blondies feel firm to the touch.
Let cool at least 10 minutes before slicing. Cut into squares. Enjoy!
