Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cup Ice
  • 1 Cup Frozen Diced Pineapple
  • 2 Ounces Pineapple Juice
  • 2 Ounces Coconut Milk (from the can) *see notes
  • ½ Ounce Lime Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 Teaspoon Rum Extract
  • Pinch Salt
  • Pineapple Slices, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the ice, pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut milk, molasses, rum extract, and salt to a blender. Blend until smooth
  • Pour into two glasses and garnish with sliced pineapple. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

Traditional piña coladas use cream of coconut, a sweetened coconut milk - these are full of sugar and other processed ingredients, so I recommend using coconut milk and adding maple syrup if you need extra sweetness
