1 15OunceCan Black Beans
½MediumRed Onionchopped
1TeaspoonGarlic Powder
1TeaspoonSmoked Paprika
1TeaspoonCumin
½TeaspoonChili Powder
½TeaspoonTurmeric
1TablespoonLime Juice
Salt & Pepperto taste
Cilantroto serve, optional
Instructions
Sauté the onion a small non-stick pan over medium heat for 3 minutes, using a splash of water if the onion starts to stick.
Empty a can of black beans (and the liquid) into the non-stick. Add the spices and lime juice. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until the bean liquid has thickened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
