This Strawberry Matcha Smoothie is a layered smoothie with fruity, creamy strawberry banana on the bottom and earthy, energizing matcha on top. Perfect for a refreshing and energizing breakfast or afternoon treat.

Strawberry Layer 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries ½ Medium Frozen Banana ½ Cup Milk I used soy milk Matcha Layer ½ Medium Frozen Banana ½ Cup Milk I used soy milk ½ Cup Yogurt I used vegan greek yogurt 1-2 Teaspoons Matcha Powder 1 Scoop Protein Powder optional; I used almond powder
Add the strawberry layer ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside in the freezer while you make the matcha layer.
Rinse out the blender and add the matcha layer ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Pour the strawberry layer into a glass. Then pour the matcha layer over the back of a spoon. Enjoy immediately.
