Ingredients

  • 1 Large Baguette or 2 Medium/Small see gluten free options below
  • Cup Miyokos Vegan Butter softened (OR ¼ cup canned coconut milk OR ¼ cup vegetable broth)
  • 8 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven or air fryer to 350°F.
  • In a small bowl, mix the butter (or broth or coconut milk), garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
  • Spread the mixture evenly on both sides of the baguette.
  • Place the two halves of the baguette back together and wrap the entire baguette in foil.
  • Place on a baking sheet (to catch any leaks) and bake for 10-12 minutes until warm and toasted. Unwrap and turn the butter side face up, broil for 2-3 more minutes.

Notes

Gluten-Free Baguettes:  both B-Free and Schar have gluten-free and vegan baguettes. Often these are found in the frozen or refrigerated sections. The recipe works the same with gluten-free bread, no additional changes are needed.
