Make your own oat flour at home. Homemade oat flour is quick, easy, and significantly cheaper than store-bought flour.

I use oat flour all the time in my baking. It is so versatile and less processed than regular white flour.
It's also super easy to make at home, so you can whip some up anytime for significantly cheaper than buying store-bought.

Why I love Homemade Oat Flour
- Dietary needs - oat flour is made from oats, and is generally less refined than other flours. It's also completely plant-based and naturally gluten-free
- Really easy - you only need one ingredient and this recipe takes literally 5 minutes

Ingredients
- Rolled Oats or Quick Oats: to make oat flour, all you're doing is blending oats into a fine flour. You can use either rolled oats or quick oats. Avoid using steel cut oats.
How to make Homemade Oat Flour
Step 1. Blend the oats in your food processor for 3-5 minutes, until finely ground.
For some recipes a coarser grind is fine and you'll only need to blend for a minute or two. For other recipes, you'll want a finer grind, so be sure to blend thoroughly.
