Ingredients

  • 2 Shots (Double Shot) Espresso (to make using instant - mix 1 teaspoon espresso powder and 2 ounces hot water)
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Horchata Syrup to taste - 1 tablespoon is slightly sweet and 2 is quite sweet
  • ¾ Cup Oat Milk I used Planet Oat's unsweetened extra creamy; or use a barista oat milk
  • 1 Cup Ice divided

Instructions

  • Prepare the horchata syrup.
  • Brew or make your espresso.
  • For the classic shaken espresso, add the espresso, syrup, and ½ cup of ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Add fresh ice to a glass, then strain the espresso mixture over the ice. Pour on the milk.
For a hot version, steam or heat your milk then add the brewed espresso, horchata syrup, then the milk.
