Homemade Roasted Sesame Broccoli (Bibibop-Style)

Print Recipe
This homemade roasted sesame broccoli is inspired by roasted broccoli sold at Bibibop. Simple roasted broccoli with a bold sesame flavor. A great side dish or bowl additions.

Ingredients

  • 2 Heads Broccoli
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil **see notes for oil-free
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425℉. Slice the broccoli into florets - I like to keep the long stems to mimic the way they cut at Bibibop.
  • Transfer the broccoli florets to a baking sheet and add the oil, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  • Bake at for 12-15 minutes, until the broccoli is browned.

Notes

**I love using toasted sesame oil for even more flavor. If you want to keep this recipe oil-free, feel free to toss with water instead of oil. Then at the end, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
I also typically use closer to 1 tablespoon of oil, for a low-oil approach. But up to 2 tablespoons is more of a standard amount.
