Watermelon Lemonade

This Watermelon Lemonade is perfect for hot summer days. Made with fresh watermelon and lemon juice, this drink is sweet and refreshing. Refined sugar free!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Agave Simple Syrup or simple syrup of choice
  • 6 Cups Seedless Watermelon cubed (about half a watermelon)
  • 8-10 Large Lemons aiming for 1 cup of juice
  • 4 Cups Water
  • Ice
  • Garnishes: lemon slices, watermelon slices, mint leaves

Instructions

  • Make the agave simple syrup or your simple syrup of choice. (See post for syrup recommendations.) Set aside to cool while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • Juice the lemons until you achieve slightly over 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Add the watermelon to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Add the watermelon juice, lemon juice, agave simple syrup, and water to a pitcher. Stir. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Serve over ice with a garnish of lemon wedge, watermelon slice, and fresh mint.
