This two-ingredient Air Fryer Corn on the Cob is a delicious and simple alternative to boiling. This easy recipe is also oil-free and butter-free - perfect for serving vegans and non-vegans alike.

Nothing screams classic American summer recipe like corn on the cob.
But sometimes you just don't feel like standing over a boiling pot of water. Like, hello summer heat.
That's where this Air Fryer Corn on the Cob comes in.

Air fried corn on the cob is just as crunchy and sweet as the traditional boiled version. In fact, I'd argue it has even more flavor, since the corn gets slightly browned in the air fryer.
And all you have to do is throw the corn in the air fryer and forget about it for 20 minutes. And voila - it's ready to go.

Why I love this Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
- Dietary needs - corn on the cob is naturally gluten-free. Corn is a grain, but not a grain with gluten!
- Vegan & Oil-Free - Usually corn on the cob is served with butter, but to make this recipe vegan and oil-free, use lemon juice instead of oil/butter
- More flavor than boiled corn - the air fryer gives this corn an extra burst of flavor - the corn gets slightly browned and crisp
- Easy to make - there's basically no prep, just make sure your corn is clean before coating it with lemon juice and throwing it in the air fryer
- Don't have to use the stove - especially if you're cooking for a crowd, you might be using the stove for other dishes. Your air fryer is perfect to cook the corn to perfection
- Perfect pair with vegan aioli - I love serving corn with my plant-based garlic aioli recipe. It adds so much flavor and keeps the dish vegan and oil-free

Ingredient Notes
- Corn on the Cob: make sure your corn is clean before you put it in the air fryer - you don't want a bunch of strings when you're eating!
- Lemon Juice: lemon is a great way to keep the corn moist while it's cooking, without adding oil. Plus, it adds some acidity, which helps enhance the corn flavor. If you don't have lemon juice you could use lime juice or white vinegar. Alternatively, if you're okay with eating some oil, brush the corn with olive oil instead.
