If you've been following this blog for any amount of time, you know I LOVE bananas. And if not, hi, hello, I'm Elizabeth and I LOVE bananas.

I eat them almost every day for dessert. Usually I eat them frozen or as nice cream. But sometimes you gotta switch it up, ya know?

So I present: Air Fryer Bananas.

This is how you elevate a banana into a dessert-worthy dish. Or breakfast. You could definitely eat these for breakfast too. Honestly, I'm in favor of eating bananas at any time of the day.

Why I love these Air Fryer Bananas

    • Dietary needs - these bananas are dairy-free, plant-based, oil-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free
    • Quick and easy - this dish is ready in less than 15 minutes and simply involves slicing the bananas, coating them with syrup & spices, and then air frying them
    • Fun twist on bananas - don't get me wrong, I love bananas in all their forms. This recipe is just another delicious way to enjoy bananas

    Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

    • Bananas: use ripe, but not TOO ripe bananas. You don't want them to be falling apart. (If your bananas are too ripe, go make my banana bread instead!)
    • Maple Syrup: to make this recipe completely fruit-sweetened use date syrup instead
    • Cinnamon & Nutmeg: you could also add cloves, ginger and/or allspice
    • Toppings: nuts, berries, more maple syrup
