    Monochrome Fruit Salad

Why I love this Monochrome Fruit Salad

    • Dietary needs - this fruit salad is plant-based, dairy-free, oil-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free (I mean, it's fruit salad - it's good for you!)
    • Quick and easy - this fruit salad is ready in about 20 minutes; all you have to do is chop the fruit
    • Monochrome look - sticking with a blue/green color theme gives the salad a unique look

    Ingredient Notes

    • Maple Syrup or Honey: usually fruit salad has a sweet dressing, so maple syrup does the trick. If you aren't strictly vegan you could also use honey.
    • Lime Zest & Juice: lime juice adds a kick of citrus AND helps keep the fruit from going bad. The zest is what gives you the actual lime flavor, so don't skip it.
    • Blue/Green Fruits: pineapple, kiwi, honeydew melon, green grapes, blueberries, and blackberries. Or any other yellow/green/blue fruits you like!
