Earthy and peppery, Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower is easy to throw together for a healthy and cancer-fighting dish that tastes good too!

Do ya'll eat turmeric every day? If not, this recipe is a great way to start the habit.
Why is eating turmeric so important? Turmeric contains a compound called circumin. It's the pigment that turns turmeric that gorgeous shade of yellow-orange. Circumin has also been found to have cancer-fighting properties.

On his website, nutritionfacts.org, Dr. Greger cites tons of studies relating the circumin in turmeric to reduced risk of cancer, Alzheimer's and, other degenerative diseases.
Eating as little as ¼ teaspoon of turmeric per day can help heal your body and fight against cancer, inflammation, and other ailments. I specifically designed this Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower recipe to make sure we can all get our ¼ teaspoon in!
Besides eating our daily dose of turmeric, this simple dish provides delicious cruciferous vegetables, something else we should all be eating each day. I love being able to knock out two 'checkboxes' in one food.

Ingredients
- Cauliflower: Add some extra color to your diet by using orange or purple cauliflower. White cauliflower is great too!
- Garlic: For umami flavor. A quick hack to avoid chopping garlic is to buy freeze dried garlic that will rehydrate as the cauliflower cooks!
- Turmeric: No need for fresh turmeric in this recipe - ground turmeric will be perfect.
- Salt & Pepper: Be sure to include at least some pepper - it helps activate turmeric. Otherwise, add as much salt and pepper as you'd like, to taste.
