Whip up this whole food plant based vegan honey mustard dressing in just 5 minutes. A perfect dipping sauce for fries or as a drizzle for vegetables.

    Vegan Honey Mustard Dressing

Within the plant-based community there's a lot of debate about honey. Some say it's okay others say it isn't.

Honey isn't an animal. But it is an animal product. Therefore many vegans avoid it.

Personally, I use date syrup or maple syrup as my sweeteners of choice. So I made this vegan honey mustard recipe using these sweeteners instead.

Either way, vegan honey mustard dressing is super easy to whip up in just a few minutes.

Why I love this Plant-Based Honey Mustard

    • Dietary needs - this dressing is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, oil-free, and refined sugar free

    • Simple ingredients - you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen right now!

    Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

    • Dijon Mustard: Dijon has the best flavor for a dressing like this, but yellow mustard would work too
    • Date or Maple Syrup: choose whichever you prefer. Date syrup offers a completely fruit sweetened option, but does turn the dressing to more of a pinkish color.
    • Lemon Juice: you could also use apple cider vinegar
    • Garlic Powder: you could sub fresh minced garlic
    • Onion Powder
    • Salt
    • Pepper
