This Cherry Matcha Latte combines earthy matcha with sweet homemade cherry syrup for a beautiful layered drink. The fruity cherry flavor balances matcha's grassy notes, an easy café-style drink at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoons Matcha
  • 2 Tablespoons Warm Water
  • ¼ Cup Cold Water
  • ¾ Cup Oat Milk or other non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1-3 Tablespoons Cherry Simple Syrup
  • Ice

Instructions

  • If using a matcha whisk, soak the whisk in hot water for 5 minutes before using.
  • Sift the matcha through a fine mesh strainer.
  • In your matcha bowl or other small bowl, whisk together the matcha and warm water in an "M" motion.
  • Add the cold water (or the rest of the hot water for a hot latte) and whisk again.
  • Add ice to the glass. Add your desired amount of raspberry syrup, then your milk, then pour in the matcha.
