Enjoy the fun, extravagant vibes of a Bloody Mary without the alcohol. This Bloody Mary Mocktail is quick and easy!

This Bloody Mary Mocktail is the non-alcoholic version of the classic brunch cocktail! All the bright flavor and fun garnishes of a traditional Bloody Mary, but without the booze!
The key to a great mocktail is to replace the flavor of alcohol with a different ingredient. I have a variety of substitutes I reach for, depending on the drink.
For this Bloody Mary, I swapped in apple cider vinegar for the vodka. Since vodka doesn't have tons of flavor, we just need something to create that alcohol bite. Of course, we won't use an entire shot of vinegar. Just enough to create that zing.

Why I love these Bloody Mary Mocktails
- No Alcohol - of course! It's a mocktail, so there's no alcohol at all. If you want to add alcohol I give the quantity and type of liquor below
- Dietary needs - besides being alcohol-free this mocktail is plant-based, oil-free, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free
- Quick and easy - it only takes 5 minutes to whip up
- Great for kids and adults - the kids can have fun feeling like an adult and the adults can enjoy a cocktail without the effects of alcohol

Ingredient Notes & Substitutions
- To rim the glass: kosher salt or celery salt & a lime wedge
- Ice
- Tomato Juice: I used straight tomato juice from a can, but you can also use a vegetable juice blend like V8
- Apple Cider Vinegar: I often use apple cider vinegar to replace alcohol in my mocktails. Bloody Mary's usually have vodka, which has little flavor except for the bite of alcohol, so ACV is perfect as a sub. Of course, we won't use an entire shot of it - just enough for the bite
- Lemon Wedge: for juice and for garnish
- Prepared Horseradish: I love the horseradish taste, so I went strong on the horseradish. Feel free to adjust to your taste.
- Hot Sauce: like Tabasco
- Black Pepper
- Garnishes: celery, parsley or dill, green olives, gherkin pickles

Step-By-Step Instructions
Step 1. Pour the salt onto a small plate. Rim the glass with salt by rubbing a slice of lime on the edge of the glass and rolling in the plate of salt. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

Step 2. In a glass or cocktail shaker, mix the tomato juice, apple cider vinegar, juice of the lemon wedge, horseradish, hot sauce, and pepper.

Step 3. Strain or transfer the tomato juice mixture to glass. Garnish with celery, limes, olives, pickles, dill/parsley.

FAQ & Expert Tips
If you make several and have leftovers, a large mason jar is perfect for storage. The drink will last in the fridge for up to a week.
If you want to add alcohol, skip the apple cider vinegar and add a shot of vodka instead.
