    Savory Pumpkin Hummus

First, it tastes amazing. Especially when you add delicious ingredients (like pumpkin!) to it.

Also, it's great for snacking. And getting in your veggies. What do you eat with hummus? Vegetables, of course. If you're struggling to get in your daily servings of veg, hummus is your friend.

Hummus is also so easy to make. It literally takes five minutes. Put everything in a food processor and you're done! You've got a healthy snack for the entire week.

    Ingredient Notes

    • Chickpeas: You can use canned or fresh.
    • Aquafaba: this is the liquid from the can of chickpeas or cooking liquid when you use fresh
    • Pumpkin Puree: The canned stuff is perfect here. It is smooth and creates a beautiful texture - no oil necessary!
    • Tahini: Sub sunflower seed butter for a similar taste.
    • Garlic: I call for 4 cloves, but you can increase or decrease to your preference.
    • Lemon Juice: For a bit of tang. Fresh juice is best!
    • Spices: cumin, salt, pepper, and cayenne
    • Pumpkin Seeds: These are an optional topping. They add some crunch and extra nutrients, so I highly recommend them.
