Make a vegan buffalo chicken dip for your next party. This creamy, spicy dip is a protein packed version of the classic dip.

I'm not really a football person, but if I did host super bowl watch parties, I would for sure be serving this buffalo chicken dip. It's creamy, slightly spicy, and loaded with protein!
Sometimes my struggle with vegan versions of recipes is that they match the flavor of a dish but not the macros. A standard buffalo chicken dip recipe is creamy and spicy AND is a good source of protein. So why can't the vegan version be like that too?
Welp, this version is. I used my seitan chicken recipe to up the protein content of this dip.
Serve just like you would a regular buffalo chicken dip with some carrots, celery, and your favorite crackers. Delicious!

Why I love this Vegan Buffalo Chicken Dip
- Dietary needs - this dip is vegan, dairy-free, oil-free, and sugar free
- Vegan version of buffalo chicken - this recipe is a whole food plant-based version of classic buffalo chicken dip. Perfect to serve for guests with dietary restrictions
- Protein-packed - some vegan buffalo chicken dip recipes have the buffalo flavor, without the protein you'd usually get from chicken, but this dip uses seitan chicken for just as much protein as the chicken version
- Great for parties - buffalo chicken dip is a classic party appetizer!

Ingredient Notes & Substitutions
- Vegan Cream Cheese: not all vegan cream cheese is created equal. I recommend a brand like Miyokos because they use whole food ingredients and no processed oils or gums. Whichever brand you buy, be sure to use one without added sugar.
- Vegan Buffalo Sauce: I recommend Primal Kitchen or The New Primal
- Vegan Yogurt: the yogurt and following spices are the ingredients from my vegan ranch recipe. I use a non-dairy greek style yogurt for a bit of extra protein, but any unsweetened vegan yogurt will work
- Lemon Juice
- Spices: garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper
- Seitan Chicken: make my vegan seitan chicken recipe and shred the chicken as finely as you can. Seitan is made from vital wheat gluten, which means that it isn't suitable for those who eat gluten-free. I recommend subbing chickpeas or shredded jackfruit for a GF option.
- Green Onions: for topping and a bit of freshness
- For dipping: crackers, carrot sticks, celery sticks
