    Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

    • Celery: you'll use a whole head of celery with this recipe. The sturdier outer stalks are better for this app, but if you have enough filling, feel free to use all the pieces.
    • Vegan Cream Cheese: I use Kroger's simple truth non dairy cream cheese as I've found it's the best. Any non-dairy cream cheese will work!
    • Vegan Cheddar: for more of the cheese & bacon vibe, I also included some vegan cheddar. Most vegan cheddars aren't super healthy, so feel free to skip if you're avoiding oil
    • Coconut Bacon: the salty, sweet, deliciousness I love putting on everything! My coconut bacon takes just 10 minutes to make and is absolutely addicting.
    • Fresh Parsley & Chives: fresh herbs are necessary here - they brighten up the cream cheese mixture
    • Salt & Pepper
    • Hot Sauce: like tabasco or Frank's red hot. The stuffing is not spicy, but feel free to add more hot sauce if you want some spice

    FAQ & Expert Tips

Can I make vegan stuffed celery ahead of time?

Yes. Assemble up to a day ahead and store covered in the fridge. For best texture, add any fresh herb garnish right before serving.

What else can I add to the filling?

Chopped scallions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, or a pinch of cayenne all work well.

    Storage

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
