This Raspberry Matcha Latte is creamy, bright, and sweet. A refreshing and energizing drink layered with green tea and raspberry syrup.

I am a coffee drinker at the core, but matcha is slowly growing on me! I have really been enjoying the earthy matcha + fruity syrup combo.
I loved making my strawberry oat milk matcha lattes. And this raspberry version has that same fruity flavor!

Ingredient Notes & Substitutions
- Matcha: use your favorite matcha
- Hot Water & Cold Water: If you're making an iced latte I recommend mixing the matcha with hot water first. This helps the powder fully emulsify with the water. Then finish with cold water to help cool down the drink. For a hot latte, use warm water only.
- Milk: I typically make my drinks with soy milk - extra protein! That said, oat milk is super smooth, creamy, and delightful in lattes. I find that almond milk tastes a little funky in lattes, so avoid that unless you already know you like it.
- Raspberry Syrup: I used my raspberry simple syrup. I love keeping some of the pulp and adding it to the lattes for texture. You can also use a store-bought syrup.

Step-By-Step Instructions
Step 1. If using a matcha whisk, soak the whisk in hot water for 5 minutes before using.

Step 2. Sift the matcha through a fine mesh strainer.

Step 3. In your matcha bowl or other small bowl, whisk together the matcha and warm water in an "M" motion.

Step 4. Add the cold water (or the rest of the hot water for a hot latte) and whisk again.

Step 5. Add ice to the glass. Add your desired amount of raspberry syrup, then your milk, then pour in the matcha.
