    I have been making wellness shots on the regular for a while now. I love the idea of store bought shots, but I don't love the price point. The good news is that you can make them at home in just a few minutes.

    My original recipe is these ginger shots. But I've been loving experimenting with new flavors. This strawberry version is absolutely delicious. It's more sweet and mellow than my original version, but still has a nice bite of ginger. It's my new go-to!

    Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

    • Ginger: no need to peel! Simply wash and throw in the blender
    • Strawberries: feel free to use fresh or frozen
    • Lemon Juice: fresh is best!
    • Salt: just a pinch for electrolytes

    Step 1. Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend on high for 1 minute.

    Can I use frozen strawberries?

    Yes! This is usually what I do, since I always have a bag going in my freezer.

    How long do homemade ginger shots last?

    They keep well in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

    Can I freeze ginger shots?

    Yep! Feel free to freeze in an ice cube tray or other silicone tray and thaw as desired.

    Storage

    Store in the fridge! I love these little shot glasses for individual portions. But a mason jar works perfectly too.
