    This three ingredient Cherry Mocktail is bright, refreshing, and sweet. Made with cherry simple syrup and fresh lime juice, it's a simple but elevated drink that's perfect for any occasion.

    Cherries are one of my favorite fruits - I'm a sucker for the super sweet, rich fruits. I love the dark, sweet flavor profile. So every year I'm super excited for cherry season. Especially when I get to make mocktails like this.

    This cherry mocktail is like an elevated version of cherry limeade. It's got the flavor juxtaposition of those sweet cherries and bright, citrus of lime juice.

    The drink itself is really simple, just my homemade cherry simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and ginger beer. It's easy to customize to your exact sweetness or sourness preferences. And it's just downright delicious.

    Ingredient Notes & Substitutions

    • Cherry Simple Syrup: my homemade cherry simple syrup takes just a few minutes to make and is absolutely delicious. With bold cherry flavor and notes of vanilla
    • Fresh Lime Juice: I always recommend fresh lime juice, and since this mocktail is so simple, it is necessary here!
    • Ginger Beer: I used Q's Ginger Beer - it's sweetened with agave! You can also use ginger kombucha for a refined sugar free & gut-friendly drink
    • Crushed Ice: any ice is fine here, but I've been loving love crushed ice in cocktails and think it works really well in this drink!
    • For garnish: lime wedges & fresh cherries - garnishes are optional, but I always say that mocktails are about the vibes, so I highly recommend them

    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Step 1. Prepare the cherry simple syrup if you haven't already.

    Step 2. Add crushed ice to your glass. Add the cherry simple syrup, lime juice, and ginger beer.

    Make It By The Pitcher

    Combine cherry simple syrup and lime juice in a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve. Just before serving, pour over ice and top with ginger beer to keep the drink bubbly and fresh.
