I have been loving wellness shots lately! They are part of my nightly routine. I think of them a bit like a supplement. They are helping me prevent illness and keeping my immune system strong, just like a daily vitamin.

My regular ginger shots are fab, but switching up the flavors is way more fun.

This more tropical version features fresh pineapple and a pinch of cinnamon. A sweet and warming flavor!

    Elizabeth's Kitchen Notes

    • A balanced shot: I find myself reaching for the more fruity versions of my wellness shots more often because they is sweeter and more balanced than my plain ginger version. If you're just starting out, these shots are a great intro
    • My shot routine: I take one shot before bed each night. Ginger is great for digestion and sleep, so before bed is the optimal time. When I run out, I spend a few minutes making my next batch - it truly only takes a few minutes. Then I pop them into these little shot glasses for easy portions all week.
    • Shake before using: I give my shots a slight shake before drinking, because fresh ingredients tend to settle. This is especially pertinent with these cinnamon shots - cinnamon will settle in the bottom of each glass
